Loyal followers of the pop star are calling for that a person who leaped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the Australian man pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the actors walked down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further comment on Instagram.

A number of fans also criticised guards at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

In clips circulating online, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Numerous of supporters had assembled in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore mall, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed Broadway and West End show Wicked, which centers on the surprising relationship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored a dozen Oscar nominations, securing a pair for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
