Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
